I am Zach, and I build websites and do IT support in Northern Colorado.
The short version
Three careers that turned out to be one job.
I started in IT support, which is where you learn that most technology problems are not really technology problems. They are somebody's Tuesday being ruined by something nobody owns. You learn to answer the phone, explain without condescending, and fix the thing.
Then web development, because the sites I kept being asked to patch were built by people who would not be coming back. And video production alongside it, because a business with nothing to show has a design problem no layout can solve.
Those three used to feel like separate resumes. They are not. A small business calls one person about a broken contact form, a domain renewal, a page that needs rewriting, and a video for the home page, and it would be strange if that were four vendors.
So ZV Techworks is all of it, for businesses and nonprofits that are too small for an agency and too serious for a template.

Domain, hosting, and WordPress install in your name, on accounts you control. You can walk away and take everything with you.
Handover
Built to be edited
Sites are built so your team can change a phone number or add a staff bio without calling me. I train you and write it down.
Local
Down the road, not offshore
Eaton based. Greeley, Windsor, Fort Collins, and Ault are a short drive when a conversation goes better in person.

Fixed scope, fixed number
A written scope and a price before work starts. No hourly meter running while you think about a headline.
Honesty
I will talk you out of things
If your site does not need rebuilding, I will say so. A smaller invoice and a client who trusts me beats the reverse.

Where I work
Based in Eaton, Colorado. I work in person across Weld and Larimer County, which covers Eaton, Ault, Greeley, Windsor, Fort Collins, Loveland, and the towns in between. Everywhere else is remote, and that works fine.
